Defining the Visual Identity of Web Hosting Project: cPanel Global Rebranding & Digital Presence
Role: Lead Designer (Branding & Web)
cPanel is a household name in tech, but its external identity needed to evolve to reflect its status as a modern, innovative platform. The primary goals were:
-
Modernization: Elevating a legacy brand to compete with modern cloud-native solutions.
-
Communication: Simplifying complex server management concepts into a digestible, high-converting website experience.
-
Consistency: Creating a brand system that works across digital marketing, physical events, and partner integrations.

The Solution
-
Brand Evolution: I developed a comprehensive visual identity—including a refined logo treatment, a professional typography system, and a "stability-focused" color palette—to reinforce cPanel’s reliability.
-
The Website Architecture: Designed a high-performance website focused on clear user journeys. I prioritized a clean, "breathable" layout that used custom iconography to explain abstract technical features (like WHM or API automation).
-
Asset Library: Created a modular design system for the web, allowing the marketing team to quickly spin up landing pages and resources that remain 100% on-brand.
The Impact
-
Brand Authority: Shifted the market perception from a "utility tool" to a "premium technology partner."
-
User Engagement: Improved the flow of information on the site, leading to better user education and a more streamlined path to partnership for hosting providers.
-
Scalability: The new brand guidelines provided a "north star" for all future marketing and product design efforts.
